Privacy Policy
Last updated:
NewsNews is run by Kritapas Suwannawin ("we"). This page explains what information is handled when you read this site. Questions go to [email protected].
1. The short version
NewsNews has no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no comment boxes. We set no cookies of our own. The site shows ads from Google AdSense, and Google may use cookies to show them. We do not sell personal information.
2. Information handled when you visit
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site, Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request.
- Visit counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are read. It records the page address, the referring page, browser and device type, and country. It uses no cookies and does not follow you across other sites.
- Embedded video. Some pages include a YouTube player, loaded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. When the player loads, YouTube (Google) receives your IP address. If you play the video, YouTube may store cookies or similar data on your device. Google's Privacy Policy applies.
- Advertising. We show ads through Google AdSense. When an ad loads, Google receives your IP address, browser and device details, and the address of the page you are on. Google and its partners use cookies and similar identifiers to show ads based on your earlier visits to this site and other sites, and to measure those ads. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of personalised ads from many advertising companies at aboutads.info/choices. How Google uses information from sites that use its services explains more.
- Links. Stories link to the original publishers and to our posts on social platforms. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
3. What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email address, or any account. We do not build profiles of readers ourselves. Google's advertising, described above, works under Google's own policy.
4. Our social media posts
We publish our videos to our own accounts on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and X, using those platforms' official APIs. We use that access only to post and manage our own content. We do not access any reader's account or data on those platforms. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. If you watch, like, or comment on our posts, that platform's own policy covers it.
5. Why we use this information
To deliver the site, keep it secure, understand which pages are read, and pay for the site through advertising. We rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving the site.
6. Who receives it
Cloudflare (hosting and visit counts) and Google (the YouTube player and advertising, together with Google's advertising partners). We share nothing else, unless the law requires it.
7. How long it is kept
We keep no database of readers. Cloudflare keeps its logs and visit counts, and Google keeps its advertising data, each under its own retention rules. If you email us, we keep the message for as long as needed to answer it.
8. Your rights and data deletion
You may ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. In practice we hold nothing that identifies a reader, other than emails sent to us. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Other countries
Cloudflare and Google process data on servers around the world, so your information may be handled outside your country.
11. Changes
We will update this page and its date when our practices change. If we add another advertising or analytics provider, this page will describe it before it starts.
